shock adjusters

how do ou use the front shock adjusters? should they be able to be adjusted b hand or do you need an adjustable wrench? i tried and mine are stuck. i'm gonna buy a set of adjustable wrenches real soon so i'll try it then. in the shop manual, it just says to rotate them to the desired postion and nothing else. i know the back ones need a wrench to be moved because they have nuts involved, but the front adjusters don't.

You need a spanner wrench.

you need the tool for it.... the tool sorta looks like a question mark... (?) its has a handle and essentially a hook that locks into the grooves on the adjusters.

or... if you don't care too much about scratching up the outside surface, use channel locks. (tongue and groove pliers)
