Shifting Problems

I have a 96 Blaster that the crank went down. I split the case and replaced the crank but now it will only shift into the first three gears. I still have the case apart but can not figure it out. All the gears look good and the transmission worked great before I split the case. Its ticking me off because I do not want to go through having to remove the engine and splitting the case again if it does not work. Any ideas or anything???

try pushing it forward until it stops itself then backward till it stops itself , then changing the gear , for each gear , also ive heard without actually moving some blasters wont get into the higher gears , ive heard of ppl saying it wont go into 5th and 6th , so if it wont go into forth it wouldnt surprise me
