Shifter Broke???

Guys i think the mech. that redid my engine broke the head off the shifter bolt!!! it wont stay tight on the shifter rod in the engine....is ther a temp. fix i can do so that i can at least finsih breakin it in?? also what do i need to do?? please help

U know the rode that comes out from the cases??? the shifter lever that attaches to that so u can shift will not grab on to the grip on the rod cause it aint tight enough....the guy who rebuilt my engine must have broke off the head to the bolt cause theres no head therefore i cant tighten it!!! i need a temp solution so i can shift to get my break in done!! please help

Yea guy from New england dirt riders(my mechanic) just called me and told me that they had broken that piece and they ordered another one for me and its in today....bringin it down tommorow and hes gonna fix the rest(hopefully) of my probalems for free....that means im goin to the track sunday!!!!! anyone in ri, mass.or conn. up for a race??? lol thanks guys
