Shift star?

My blaster was kicking itself into neutral from first and second gear. I shut it off and restarted it later and it was trying to engage the chain in neutral. I took it for a ride and it shut off. Now it won't go into neutral and I can't pick it. Help?!

Better description would help, auto correct doesn't, and sounds like two separate Issues.
Start by draining oil, remove clutch cover, inspect shift star and external shift mechanism.
If something came addict (shift star) it could be jamming starter mechanism.
