So I got the blaster running for the first time. It would only start with starting fluid, when it did start it ran really high on the rpms. It went like hell pulled the front tires right off the ground. If i stay on the throttle it will keep running but when i let off it dies. I cleaned the carb good i think lol. followed the youtube video to clean it. Just looking for some input to get it to idle. It was my first time riding a manual atv. I think im hooked. best $250 I ever spent

Should be a 220. There're numbers stamped on them. When you do the leakdown test wiggle the carb boot, they crack over time. Have you cleaned the carb? Set the float?

I have fallen into the #220 main jet problem before, the recommended jet for a stock motor is #230, check the supplemertary section of the manual.

Countries within Oceania use a #220 as stock owing to a higher ambient temperature.
