Hi guys im going to be getting stronger doors made for my shed as the council has just made the house across the road from me a scatterhouse and there is alot of people go in and out and i know alot of them and there thief's. anyways once the stronger doors are on my shed im going to be looking into getting a alarm.

im thinking one of these

Home Garage Shed Room Standalone Mains Burglar Alarm with Battery Backup PIR | eBay

Ryobi TEK4 *RUGGED* 4V Wireless PIR Motion Sensor Security Burglar Alarm | eBay

which one would be best? reason being not just to scare them off but a loud enough one for to wake me.(my bedroom is at the back of house and im like 100 feet from my shed. iv currently got a cemented anchor with a £80/$100 chain and padlock but the people around this area if they can't get it they don't just leave they set the things on fire and i want a loud enough one so i can get down before that happens. plus anyone recommened security bars? seriously this place is bad as i use to have a RM85 3 years back. i kept it at my mums due to the thiefs about here. but one time i brought it to my nan's to wash it at a neighbours with his jet wash and someone must of seen me washing it round his back and the next night after i took it back to my mums they broke into my neighbours shed looking for it. so they don't hang around. i no longer keep things at my mums as she is on sleeping pills and she wouldn't hear anything lol. i have fire extinguishers already.(reason being i set a bike up in flames a while back due to the spark plug lead being on the floor with a sparkplug in it and petrol leaking out the tank lol.

id get the 2nd one then move to usa

aha! trust me man if i had the money id do it. half of my life has been thrown away by this place as i don't go out. only time i go out is if im going with a mate on quad or fishing lol it use to be a quiet place but ever since people has moved or passed away(use to be older people in my street) the council has put drug users or drug dealers in. there was 2 raids in my street last year within a space of 3 days lol

thats crappy, im happy i dont live in a area like that. if it was my shed i would line the whole thing with bricks and not have windows so they cant set it on fire

yeah man well i had the choice of the shed i have the now or another but the other one had a window. and i didnt want people to think when they seen it why did they block it off etc. i got the chain i have free of the mate i go quadbiking with so i just cut my nans bird seed bracket down and cemented it in the ground I:I but if i get a good job and earning good money i would get the f*ck out of here. im thinking about the second alarm so theres no wires. just emailed the guy to ask how long it takes to charge the cylinder thing as its no good if its so much days lol

If it was me, I would take the grips off and hook a 120V wire the the steering stem. Sit back and wait for the funny part.

Just wish all you guys could see the situation that the UK is in because of these Conservative/Labour toss pots we have leading the place, it makes me ashamed to call myself a Brit !

You might also like North Carolina. The weather is more mild down here, though if you like the snow, there is plenty to go around if ya move to the mountains. Plus there is Busco Beach here, as well as plenty of other good places to ride.

On your security question, a loud alarm is going to be the best bet, short of having a 12ga ready for action. And, unlike in the movie Hot Fuzz, aren't firearms strictly controlled and/or banned from civilian hands in the UK?

Back to the alarm situation, my boss has had the shop broken into multiple times. He finally ditched the silent alarm he had installed because nobody could react fast enough to it to catch anybody. By the time law enforcement got there, the thieves were long gone or had been scared off by passerby. At least with a wailing alarm, those up to no good will be reminded that they have no time to tarry before somebody shows up.

You might also consider getting a large, loud dog (not necessarily aggressive) for the yard if conditions permit. If you can make life more difficult for a thief, (ie, make him worry what willl happen if he climbs into a back yard with an unknown dog) he is going to think twice and be more likely to go after an easier target.

B

The firearms process is quite a faff here but it isn't too difficult to obtain one but you do need a justified reason for owning one like being a member of a club or having land to shoot on (pest control etc). I suppose thieves would come under pest control ;)

id build a huge tesla coil and set it right inside your shed door, and have it remote so when u go out there u can simply turn it off and move it out of the way

this is a tesla coil if anyone doesnt know:

except this one seems to have no effect, maybe if u put a metal plate on the ground and grounded it to the tesla coil maybe it will knock them out. I:I

JKJKJKJK i did not give you this idea.
