Setup for heavy woods and hillclimbs

i would just get a few jets, its a lot cheaper and you'll probably need smaller ones than what come in the kit for the fmf

Definitely just buy a handfull of jets!! Get a few new plugs and start your trial and error in your back yard or if you don't have lots of land, somewhere that you can ride around and open it up a bit and then keep your tools all in one spot to keep changing out the jets as needed. Don't dump the gas on the ground either!!

For tires, in the woods, I would recommend atleast 21 (which is stock) if not 22" tires. For hill climbs I would suggest a lengthened swingarm. I'm a big fan of 22" tires in the woods!! Also, good skids are a must!

Stock filter and airbox lid still on. Should i remove the lid then jet? Sorry about all the questions.

I would remove the lid unless you ride in a lot of mud and water... for just dirt trails the lid isnt necessary. I would buy a better air filter, remove the lid, and then jet... then you should have enoguh power for those hills.

Picked up a uni filter today, ordered jets (250-260-270-280) came in sets of 4. Should be in by Friday. Just have to pick up some plugs and then i can test and tune this weekend.

Good deal man... you will definitely like the increase in power... you will be having more fun haha
