What does everyone think of my design for scoops? I want to make something different than a rectangle, Just a quick one in paint. They are a mix of a few 450r scoops I saw.

I will try to get to it tonight if I can. It is still a bit cold, or maybe I'll bring a vise and dremel inside.
I will probably make a few different styles out of cardboard. I will make a real one up and post later to see what everyone thinks.
i was gonna make my scoops a different shape, but couldnt cut the metal easy.

band saw would work nicely. thats a cool design. kinda takes after the 450's radiator shroud style.
I made up a coardboard template. Dont think it looks too bad, but not sure yet. They have a similar look to the yfz450. It has the 1 inch bends on top and bottom, and is basically the same measurements D. Jackson used.
Your mounting setup is good, so I will do the same or similar. I might also take the measurements and make a scaled pic to print. That way maybe someone else could try them out or mod them whatever.
well if you make them, ill PC them for you. i dont know how i could pull thoes bends off. they look good.
Thanks! Tomorrow I will try to fab them up. Not quite sure about bending them up, but I will figure it out. I have a vice grip hand brake that might do the trick.
