breakin in a 240 engine with stock carb and exhaust and jettedg with a 340 main and fouled plug in like 20 secs put in a 330 jet same put in a 320 and new plug and same thing fallin on face under throttle so i stopped idid put in bigger pilot jet also have a vac leak somewhere b/c when i let off throttle it still revs for a sec then dies i got a 38 mil carb on the way and cpi

and i thought my new 36 was f*cking huge lol. if your fouling your plug, you gota go down in jets more...(right? lol not even positive but makes sence)
i wouldnt run a 240 kit with all those stock components. I bet if you upgraded your carb, and exhaust system your blasty would be running alot better. Check for a crack around your intake book. Those crack eaisly. Also check your reed gasket. While your in there just upgrade your reeds!
i have a set of boysen power pro reeds in now and am just breakin in motor until i9 get pipe and carb
wtf wth what you have you need a lot smaller main. also check how many turns out your idle screw is. 1.5 is stock
Wth the main i wold say like 280 but just a guess cause your 240 kit is not sucking in all the air it should through your stock carb. A side note on the carb get a mikuni yeah the air stryker has people dropping their jaws over them, but their emptying their pockets to. a 36mm mikuni does just fine and is a lot easier for me to tune cause I always have tuned them.
