rod bearing

Well wiyh the weather turning i tore down the blaster. good thing to don't
know how she didn't come apart? big gash in the wall, peace of piston
missing between the first and second rings. wow!

Anyway looking at the rod, I noticed alot of play at the crank is this normal?
just thought I would ask for some input.

Sounds like a bearing in your crank went out or spun.
