Hello new Jeep! (Jeep #3)
bought it 100% stock

And the transformation began :D

Cut the fenders and added big tires

Then it was time to wheel it

Trip went awesome but i need it bigger
So i bought a lift, this one will be bigger than the last, seems to be a trend...

I'm in the middle of putting it on, working an afternoon shift is really a witch, cant get anything done. The rear will be done next week. Going away for a class this weekend.
Eventually there will be nice bumpers, rock sliders, and skid plates.

I liked the old one, not a fan of the cut fenders on it personally, should of went with a extra inch or 2 body lift to compensate for it

I think now that it is lifted you should go for aftermarket fenders of some sort.

Looks good though!

i had a 85 cj7. i joined jeepforum but the guys on there were a bunch of dicks so i didnt go anymore. mine had death wobble though. that and a number of things made me sell it.

Thanks for the responses

Mine impressed me being stock with big tires.

As for body lifts, no exist, cherokees and grand cherokees are uni-bodies. 4.5" is as high as you can go without having to get into new control arms, redoing the steering and all that crap.

Also there isn't very many options for fenders and i wouldn't want to spend the money on cosmetics when its getting beat to crap and will prolly break anyways

I liked the black jeep a lot, but i wanted a strictly off road jeep and thats what this one is, if it rubs up against a tree i'm not worried about it lol

I'm on CHEROKEEFORUM.COM and i've posted the jeep in the build thread a month ago and keep updating it and no one seems to care...
