how do u know if u have power reeds without removing everything

Its actually pretty easy...You remove the carb and then the four (4) bolts that hold on the reed cage. Remove the reed cage assembly,then post a picture,so we can tell you what you have.

Chips, frays or cracks, and stock jet is a #230.

not overly bent mabey 1mm over flush with the cage but thats it in my opinion any higher and I wouldent be comfortable running them they seam stock but where is the metal back flaps (forgot what their called) reed stops

no, they should lay flat against the cage also looks like your missing the stoppers. thatll help a little with keeping them fresh.
