Reed stops

Im am missing my reed stops and i was wanting to know if that will make my reeds break easyer or wear out faster

yea it can make them snap easier. I had a set of tdr reeds on my banshee before I put vforce3's on it and I went over a jump whithout letting off the trottle in mid air and it snapped one of the pedals off

well my last reed broke but so times when i am wide open it cuts out sometimes and i think with out the reed stops it is leting them open to far and im getting to much air to the motor

i see by ur avatar that you have a boyesen reed sticker... if you are running that brand... you arent supposed to have reed stops. (per boyesen installation instructions)

boysen gives u the rev plated i dont have reed stops
