reed spacers?

dont know much about the 2 strokes but, i have a reed spacer and i didnt put it on yet. will it help power wise or what? my motor is .080 over and hmf pipe.

It seems they just move the power band around in the RPM range, my Blaster has a BUTT LOAD!!! of low end and very little top end.
