Reed Spacer?

Anyone know if I'll need a reed spacer with Vforce3's, SMS intake and a 35mm PWK to clear the clutch lever? I don't have all my parts yet, so I can't mock it up.

you could bend the clutch arm but i would get the spacer

Aren't spacers kinda frowned upon though, like they kinda suck? If I do have to use one, do they get installed on the motor side of the reeds, or the carb side? Lastly, any one with the same setup know what width spacer I'd need?
