Ok. So this new Blaster I picked up has a fresh top end. I think it was like .80 over. I believe every time you get a rebuild you bore out in .20 increments.
Now the question is, WHY do you need a rebuild? and is there a limit to how much you can bore out, like .100 over? How often should you rebuild the top end? WHEN should you and HOW do you know know when to replace the top end?
My apologies. I am new to the blaster and 2-stroke world. The last thing I wanna do is mess up the quad.
PLEASE HELP.... :(

You should do periodic compression checks on your blaster. You should be over atleast 100 psi. When your below that then its probally about time to rebuild! Im not sure of how many bores you can get but some one on here will answer that for you! What year is this blaster? Can we see some pics?

The reason you bore is due to damage to the sleeve wall..It does little for .. Some people say .090 is max but i have mine at .150..And a guy showed me the book with wiseco piston and it says max is .200 over..but in most cases when u start going that big the sleeve walls are thin and then u begin to have a heat issue..Due to the thin sleeve walls..I would never bore a blaster or any motor for power gain it does little if any for that reason..Hope that helps pce

Thank You all or your Help!!!!!
At least now I can have a peace of mind, knowing on what to do.
Thanks to all of you. I'll have pics of the bike up real soon. Along with some new mods.
