Hey everybody. New here and new to atvs too kinda sad since I'm in my 30's lol. I just picked up 2 a few weeks ago. One for my daughter and one for me. I got a 94 Blaster 200 that was used and abused badly, and very cheap that's why I got it. I got a new swingarm for it but now my top carrier bolt won't fit. I know they're metric but I'm a carpenter so I'll speak in sae. The bottom bolt appears about 3/8 and would fit the top holes in the swingarm but the bolt I took out of it b4 replacing the swingarm is closer to 1/2 so it won't fit thru the swingarm but fits nicely thru the carrier. Hope that makes sense. Idk if they may have drilled out the carrier and swingarm b4, it doesn't appear so, but they could have worn it out like they did everything else. So should I drill the swingarm holes or is there supposed to be a sleeve or something in the carrier, or should I get a new carrier. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. Thx 4 any help

To put it simpler the previous owner had a larger than stock bolt in the carrier and apparently drilled out the old swingarm, so a stock bolt is very loose in the carrier and I don't feel it should be this way. I guess it could be a carrier from a different atv but it looks like a blaster one should.

Thanks for the response. That's what I thought after getting the new swingarm on. It just worries me about the extra room in the carrier with a stockbolt. Its like an 1/8 inch of play and that seems to be to much to me, but I don't really know. This thing was apparently rode to hell n back n off a few cliffs on the way lol. The swingarm had 2 large cracks in it and the rear bearings were so bad it took over an hour with a 3lb hammer to get the axle out. They did some modifications but didn't do a good job on anything so I don't think they could've drilled the carrier hole larger without screwing something up, or it at least being noticeable, but the top hole is definitely a couple mm larger then the bottom one. I'll try and get some pics

I think I'm just gonna make the swingarm holes a little bigger for the larger bolt. There seems to be plenty of meat on there and I won't be treating it near as bad as the previous guy. That n the fact I got a lot of money into four wheelers this month and I am ready to go ride!
