Really dumb question????

Is there a rev limitor on the 2003 - 2006 blaster because mine seems to be bouncing off one when i at about 90% throttle in 6th gear riding but it doesn't seem to be like like in any other gear. It almost acts like it wants to foul a plug or something.

i had the same problem.. i was running lean on the top end. its a jetting issue if you ask me..

Whats ur mods an jets set at never had a 2-stroke with a rev limiter,its ur jetting

i have a 260 main jet in it on the fourth clip down and it runs great till you are just about pegged. I did a couple different plug chops on it and the were cardboard colored in nature so maybe i should just click it up a notch or go to a 270 main on the 3rd clip. All it has is a foam air filter no lid, a full fmf fatty pipe with a powercore 2 silencer.

Well the clip is for low to mid,try the 3rd but i think u do need to up the main jet to 270 o-yeah r u wow until 6th then shut down on the plug chop?

i ran it until 3rd wide open then did the plug chop on it like they told me when i was getting the jetting set in the first place.

thats not right maybe if u only ride in 2 an 3rd well top speed is ur 3rd i don't think it is put the clip on the 3rd clip an do the 270 jet did you read my sig. my jet is at 290 its a little rich not bad run great.

i agree up your main. im running a 300 main on my gf's bike with only filter and exhaust on it..

No lid and aftermarket pipe, and runing a 260 main? sounds real lean to me, take my example.... runing at sea level, B1 pipe, no lid, vforce3, stock carb and i run a 310 main, needle in center clip.
