:-/ I got this idea in my head.... I had a line on a '75 RD350 a while back for $200.00. The engine was perfect, but the rest of the bike is trashed. Now I've got an idea to get a blaster chassis and mate it up with that RD350 air cooled twin. About 35 RWHP stock at 7000 RPM would make for an awesome trail Blaster I'd think. They had really good torque too.... I don't know. If I had an Extra Blaster Chassis I'd do it for sure.

Now the search is on for a roller thrashed-out blaster. I really want to do this build for some reason. Exhaust is gonna be a biotch too:-/ (thinking out loud). Anybody know of anyone that has done this? I also have a 250cc twin cylinder yamaha 2 stroke engine out back... but that bike was pretty lame... RD's are fun!

Thoughts? Suggestions?

anything can be done bro I:I
just depends on how mechanically inclined you are ;)
good price if the motor runs

75 Yamaha RD350

Thanks man. I know I can do it.. It'll look factory... I have a pipe bender, welder, everything i need for the frame mods. it's puting out the cash that always hurts. I think it would be pretty cool build though. I'll see if I can make it happen... I'll update this when the pieces start to come together. I:I

i had that thought but using a Rd 250 motor.... exhasut wil be apain.. best bet and easyest to get it moving will be 2 blaster or banshee drag pipe, prob blaster for the smaller motor size... beyond that its gonna be ether running the stock pipes down under the frame or taken it to a pipe builder and having cutstom twins made...

or maybe a 250r pipe and make a2-1 manofold and run a single
