Yes i just bought a 2001 blaster runs great but only one problem shifts good but for sum reason i just cant get it into neutral? cant really find a straight answer maybe clutch adjustment? and also how much trany oil shud be in this quad? thanks for any input

there should only be about 1/4 inch of play in the clutch cable while its released. So basically if your not pulling it all the way its grabbing a little bit causing the difficulty. there is a sight glass on the right side of your engine toward the back at the bottom. usually dirty and hard to see but if you get a flashlight and point it right at it and move the quad around alittle bit you can see it. might consider changing it anyway just so you know its good. enjoy!!

You think that will fix the nuetral problem? and yea ill take a look at that what kind of oil wud you recomend? people are saying 10w30 synthetic

this quite possibly could be cable stretch, but the clutch IS NOT adjusted with the cable, only cable slack from the cable stretching, it is adjusted internally with the screw and nut in the center of the clutch basket
let us know if a cable adjustment and tranny oil change help the matter
any of the factory 2 stroke tranny/gear oils will work fine

neutral is a biotch to find on the blaster. it says how much oil to put in the trans right at the fill cap printed on the case
