aight forgive me on this..i had a massive brain fart..but i bought my repair kit and it came with everything i need ta repair my top end...and i never used it...so i jus ordered new rings...and since i took my head completly apart...could i use the connecting rod that connects the piston to the crank???its the new one..and its bout 1/4 inches shorter then the stock...would it hert anything??? srry fer not knowing the names...massive brain fart guys...

The stroke will be shorter, and who knows if it will clear. Put it on make sure it wont hit the crank. The bottom piston skirt may or may not hit. Even if it clears it will be a big power loss. I would leave the old in if it isn't shot and just replace the wrist pin bearing/gaskets.

r u talking about the connecting rod, if so u need to split the crank itself to change the connecting rod, i think it has to be prssed out, rebalanced and trued up again

not sure i dont understand your question, do you need to change the connecting rod? is it dmagaed ? what is 1/4 inch shorter? do yo u have the correct piston ?if the rod takes a crap you dont fiddle with changing out rods thats a time consuming and waste of money too .yo u would buy another crank ,a blaster crank is really pretty cheap ,id get a +3mm stroker

hahaha aight so goodnight sleep helped..can i use the piston pin AND the bearing that came with threbuild kit? even thoough the new pin is a lil bit shorter then stock..and could i use the new bearing? it looks ta be the same size..

you will need ot be more clear ,wha t exactly is not like stock ?the wrist pin bearing? the piston ? is the wrist pin not correct ?

its the stock piston...but i wanna use the aftermarket piston pin and the aftermarket bearing..the pin and bearing came from a .90 over bore package that i never used..
