problems shifting

question- i just installed a new clutch and now when i up shift i can fell the click on the shifter but when i down shift i don't feel the click but it does down shift. I just done;t know what gear I am going in. I think it might be the shifter shaft. Any thoughts?

is it skipping a gear going down or just seems to be slopping into gear when going down? i'm not clear on what your getting at

it could be shift shaft shift star or some thing with the clutch

its more than like some thing outa twak from when u did the clutch there a internal adjustment
