primary gear

Was checking for a oil leak from my trans when I noticed my drive sprocket has play on the output shaft.I know from working on other mechanical items that a gear or sprocket should be pretty snug on the shaft.I am just wondering if this is normal because my gut tells me its not.The sprockets are relatively new w/ low hours on them.It just seems to have a little to much play on the output shaft.Any info would be appreciated.:-/

mine moves like clockwise and counter clockwise a little

This movement is not in the rotational direction,but if you grab it and pull the gear it moves from the shaft.I was told this might be normal just checking.

i actually just replaced my crank seals and can also say that thier is a little bit of play there.
