I just have a question on the power delivery of a stock Blaster. I've never owned or rode a Blaster before I bought this one. It's all stock & in excellent mechanical condition, jetting, compression all good. It has a really short, midrange powerband & then it's done, nothing on top. Is that how a stock Blaster is?

It may not be jetted very well....play with the jetting and you can always get more power out of it when it's jetted properly.
But yeah, stock they're kinda tame. Pipes make a huge difference. Even just taking the airbox cover off with a stock pipe and then getting the jetting correct will noticeably increase the power.
