don't know where your from, but around here its anyway from $200-$350. Like fabb said, it all depends on the shop and sometimes on what color you go with. metallic paints tend to cost more
alot of people use automotive paint or even spray paint. it won't last as long as powder coating it, but its alot cheaper
You can get good results with sprayed on paint. It just takes alot of prep work that some people don't do first.
Powder coated frames are awesome. I have seen bad powder coated frames though.
As far as durability PC kills sprayed on paint. I can sandblast paint but not powdercoat.

i got an estimate for $400 from a good shop around here for a 2 colour job, including, swingarm, frame, a arms, hubs, axle, and all the other little parts.
We got our done for $135, and thats including the sandblasting it as well. Of course he is sponsoring my son's racing, and he gave us a better price, but his normal price would be about $200 for frame, and swingarm.
As for the rest we are doing it ourselves, and will only cost us powder. Starting in the spring we will be doing our own frames as well, but we have to finish our oven build 1st.
