I have no idea what the seller ran in it but, I put in about 1/2 a quart of new yamalube 2stroke inj oil. I have been mixing maxima superM pre-mix in my KTM bike since new. Now I'm considering getting maxima superM injector oil for my blaster.

Does anybody know exactly what is in the yamalube inj oil, is it synthetic? is it a conventional/synthetic blend? or totally conventional?

The guy at the dealer told me that the yamalube is as he called a semi-synthetic which I assumed means a blend. But we all know how "knowledgeable" dealers can be. I still run it though in mine. My dad has always ran it in his with and without the oil injection and his blaster is an 88 and only needed 3 rebuilds in that many years and I rode the piss out of it when I was younger.

I've run both yamalube then switched to super M injection in my original '96 blaster, they are compatible.

it's the bean oils that do not play well with others.
