i might be venturing into polishing as a side job. ive done a couple of small parts over the past week that have come out awesome. really just trying to find out what the market is like for polishing?
its ok, nothing to brag about, i am sure people will send you little stuff if you have good prices, i know 305 and stroker are battling it out, lol, 305 has a long way to go to catch stroker though!!
i see. just starting to get my feet wet. i wont do it on the side for cash if im not great at it. ive started to wrap seats a little hear and there. mostly drag seats for shee's and stuff. crushed velvet and what not.
Not sure what they are. what ever they are they have worked fine for me. done different seats with them and so far theyv held jut fine. until i see something different i will probably continue on. what kind do you use.
ive noticed some of that with mine. but if i get the pan down firm and flat they seem to go through okay. the problem with it is if its not held firm the rubber pan seems to flex and wont allow the staple to penetrate all the way through.
well so far all i have done is my motor mounts. got some plans for some other items soon. it takes a while to get stuff done. never really realized how much work goes into polishing. lol but it nice to see the finished product. next im gonna do my carb bowls. got an old carb to experiment with first.
