Please tell me what this is!!

I picked up a blaster project from a guy, who said it needed a ring and piston. The whole thing is in nice shape, and I got a bunch of extra parts. Included with the parts are these aluminum plates that look like a cover or guard or something. they look aftermarket, but I do not see an obvious use for them. Heck they may not even go with this Blaster. This is driving me nuts. Any ideas?

still nofen in your 2nd post but the pics in da first 1 came up to be honest im realy not sure what they are they resemble heal gaurds but i havnt got a clue i aint seen anything like that on any blaster about

maybe frame protector by the pegs? just throwing it out their haha

those aluminum pieces are made to replace the stock steel heelguards on the blaster. They bolt to the foot pegs and to the side of the frame. The two bigger holes is where the rubber grommets from the steel guards go and then your stock plastic guards fit in them. I got a set of those with my propeg nerfs so I'm not for certain if they'll work with stock footpegs or not.
