I need someones expert advice, Ok I put on a full FMF exhaust, main jet 260, 1 1/2 turns out, lid off, oil block off w/ mix ratio 32:1, like it calls for form FMF, I live in Florida, it is silly fast and sounds great but smells or seems to be hotter than before, is it normal or is it to lean, the plug isn't really white its dry and light tan/brown, I just dont want to damage the engine!

Now when you guys say white do u mean white like a beautiful snowy day, and is the hot smell normal cause my exhaust at the coupler is F__ckin hot!

yes... white... like snow is bad. white with a tint of tan is still bad...

you want light brown...

and, what kind of oil are you using in your mix?
you are getting more fuel now with a bigger main, so in turn you are burning more oil too...

cheap oils don't burn as well as others...

also, are you using high octane pump gas? cause you should be....

93 octane is kinda a must.

post a pic of your plug if you can.

I put the lid back on and turned the neddle in a little to richen it and it looked a little better

260 main

i did the same thing that fmf says to do with their fatty pipe, when i pulled the spark plug it was black(very rich). i cleaned the plug with sandblaster & took the air-box lid completely off, rode around the neighborhood for 15 min then pulled plug .it looked great (light brown) it seems to have more power also.

thats cause u are giving the air that it needs alot of people run with no airbox lid..lets more air in..usually the jets that come with pipes or the jets they recommend are rich due to the fact that way u cant blow your motor and blame it on the pipe company i got a 310 main with my pipe and im down to a 290..if that helps
