playin around?

ive been playing around with my jetting recently and i seem to find one that works the best. anyone mind giving me a main jet suggestion for my blaster? i got uni filter, LRD exhaust. i got a 300 jet at the moment it sounds too rich. i just dont feel like wasting a whole buncha money on main jets. also i have another question. my needle i switched it to the 3rd position from the top. my jet kit came with a needle also except it has 6 slots instead of the stock 5 should i use the aftermarket one?

ok so you have the dyno jet kit, umm, i think those needles are pretty good i would use it, i know its a pain to jet sometimes, depends what you got, i have a 30mm and clamp on filter, so jetting takes 2 mins.

if you use the dyno needle you can set it at the 5th clip from the top, this should be very rich spudder and run like crap, reason why i suggest doing that is to get the feel of what rich really feels like, that way you dont have to second guess, then go to 4th clip, run half throttle, then 3rd clip etc, till it runs clean.

main jet: 300 seems rich, stock is 230, so thats what 7 sizes richer, thats not necessary, try a 280, you just have to feel it, and look at the plug.

k thx. my plug was pretty clean it was just slightly shiney and slightly wet.
