might be a dumb question..but is there different size pj carburators? idk what size one i have on my bike. how do i tell? thanks

i think you can tell by the numbers on the side under the choke where the bowl meets the upper body, should say sumthin like..... pj 67ra2tda <thats what my 34mm says, then look on keihins site or google it??? or take it off and measure it, give it a cleanin while its off too

its always good to rebuild a used carb and clean it unless its being sold as a refurb thats already been cleaned and rebuilt

o ok thanks awk. its off anyway. doing a complete teardown of the bike. new bore piston blahblah. the dude i bought it from did not take care of the thing at all. it was in horrible shape. hopefully ill bring it back to life. thanks alot

how would u guys recomend cleaning the half inch of oil, dirt, and gas off this engine. my degreaser is doing a horrible job. had so much bad gas in the carb that all that was left was oil in bowl. otherwise clean..all the ports and passages were nice and clear thank god.

i've used the cheap $1 oven cleaner from the dollar store, spray it all over the motor, leave it sit about 5 minutes and hose it off, the more the pressure the better
