Piston And Rings. NEED HELP

i am about to change my piston and rings in my blaster.
is it true that the cylinder has to be honed or bored?
whats the difference.

If you have to ask that,I think you would be better off taking to a shop to have it done.

lol If you are about to replace them stop now.Do some research on it and fully understand what you are getting into.A shop will need to do the bore/hone and then they will help you pick out what piston size to get.Not a hard job to install it once the work is done but do yourself a favor and read read read read.
