I actually did the Jersey Pine Barrens about 10 years ago in a Cherokee.
Another Cherokee swamped in a water hole crossing.
I got in trouble because I didn't know you have to keep ON the trail.
Off-road driving in Canada means OFF the freakin' road!
My friends explained to the nasty ranger that I am a foreigner and didn't know the rules.
I had read Tom Brown's books (skeptically) and was anxious to see the Jersey Barrens.
Funny, it is very much like sandy areas here and in northern Quebec, the Yukon and even Europe.
It would be a wonderful area for a run with the Blaster. What are you doing in April?
