anyone have pics of a ported reed cage? or a how to on this? and ive read that a rm reed cage works but you have to cut the intake but is this something diy or a michine shop? thanks

Send it off to get it ported im sending mine off next monday to get ported there is a guy that im friends with from MO. dat has been doin port work for many yrs..He is a good guy to go to if you are interested in looking into him just let me know I can give you his email or phone......

my reed cage looks nothing like that, its just all open, theres no round hole.. whats up wih that pic?

you want stuffers in it ,you dont want it hogged out and opened way up ,the tips are where the power is the material is where the response is ..vforce is best because it has twice the available area and uses thin carbon fiber by design its the best .opening things way up well thats how you lose intake velocity and strong signal ,they make stuffers in the vforce for a reason ,you can fiddle with your stock cage and a dremel six ways to sunday but your never going acheive the same results as delta design .im sure a huge open hole in the valve will flow wonderful wit ha flowbench or in my bath tub ,but testing it running on that given engine and riding it under actual loads on that given engine is only true accurate way to know the effects ,aftermarket reeds only offer a couple more horsepower so dont expect arm ripping gains like porting the cylinder

I'm with Denny, Kennedy opened that stuffer way to much, I'd like to see the manifold hes running that cage with! the turbulence will kill the flow!
I opened mine up to match the bigger ID of my 34mm UPP intake and no more!

oh thaught it was stock lol but yeah i know mines stock im looking for pics of a stock cage thats ported

the airflow guide, you know the little plastic piece that came with it that goes on the top of the vf3's i got them to send me a banshee airflow guide.

dont think that will make any diffrence as the banshee stock reeds/cage are actually smaller than blasters

yeah i know but you have to grind down the intake to make a blaster cage fit in a shee... so i believe the vf3 cageand everything would have to be smaller
