i hade a hole in rear tire and took it apart and patched it with a regular patch from autozone. it holds air for like 3 days now. im wondering if anyone has better luck with other brand of patch. i would like to find one that has plug in the middle like i used to use when i was younger but i dont know where to get it now. west virginia. is there one made just for atv's thanks

theres tire plug kits anywhere even auto plugs will work good, i had a buddy that had a gash in his tire about 5 inches long, he filled it with plugs, it looked likr the tire had a mohawk , but he rode the rest of the weekend, good luck!

the plug i was looking for it the patch with the plug in the middle. like 2 in one. do you think a plug will work better than a patch. thats what my dad seems to think cause of tire flex but im still not buying that. seems like its still just a tire and a patch will be the best fix thanks for help

ps just got my blaster riding again after months of work and mods. new look more power. just loving it. i took a poor beat up blaster from ebay and made it happy again. (well made me happy anyway)

just put fix a flat in there when the tire goes flat next time, mine wouldnt hold air for even a day andthe fixaflat made it perfect, doesnt leak at all, all you do is fill it up completely w/ the fixaflat and immediately go ride the quad for atleast 20 minutes, says for 2-4 miles, it coats the inside of the tire, and for 3 bucks you cant beat it

yeah but i heard fixaflat is hard on rims and if u take it somewhere to change tires they charge u more if there is fixaflat in the tire its a mess well atleast around here i used it on my stock rims but i wouldnt use it on alum rims
