is it bad to use a paper gasket for a base gasket ? Even if your torque it right ? Or can I use gasket maker and the paper gasket both

order an eom or cometic base gasket, they are like $7. hell order 2 so you have an extra

Yeah, they are prone to suck in and create an airleak. Should be avoided at all costs.

I remembered that story and was passing on the knowledge!

Paper absorbs liquid, even highly compressed paper is not spared that phenomenon.

Fluid has a capillary property which will eventually fill the void in the paper gasket!

Paper becomes soggy and can loose its formed shape.

As Awk stated the gasket can be physically blown/ sucked from its location!
