cant wait to get it. oh with my old tires one has a small pinhole in it so im gonna fill the tire with 120 snowmobile studs each rear tire, what size tube do i buy for a 21x10x8 tire?

the first thing a blaster owner should even think of doing is BUY A PIPE .. a blaster is asleep until you bolt on a pipe to wake the biotch up !
and PLEASE dont go throw a kazillion studs in those tires, your gonna have an extra 50 pounds of steel for your little 200 cc engine to have to spin . im not sure if your serious bout all that, but i kinda hope you wasnt.
also, if you still have the stock jet in your carb (230 main), put the airbox lid back on, you are actually decreasing performance by doing that. and i am speaking from experience when i tell you that, i been there. with stock jet installed it will be snappier with the lid on.
I seen that no one spoke up about all this so i just had to put my two cents in ..lol couldn't hold out any longer.

Everyone builds there blaster up in different ways.they are old tires so what the hell is it gonna hurt..Really if the guys wants studded tires then he should do it..and ur not gonna have 50 pounds of steel lol..there studs not tire chains.im sure u could get a riding mower tube to work from somewhere that sells them

your right bigdblaster, im wrong for criticizing. i do believe im right with the studs though, i also own a few sleds and i know that when i stud out a snowmobile track its absolutely amazing how much hp i loose cause of how heavy studs are to turn, it does take power away.i have a pail of studs in the garage right now that come out of my mxz and they have some serious weight to em. but it isnt my place to critisize this man either , your right to say everyone builds there bike in different ways.he i tend to think that everyone is building there bike to hit the track and that isnt the case.... sorry lookisbuddy

i wasnt trying to be a jerk to ya d.i here about people studdin tires all the time im not sure about the snowmobile studs or not they may weight a sh*t pile i mean if he is diggin in real hard hes probably gonna rep the rearend out of the blaster..just like those big ass mud tires i have heard of people tearin there bearings out cause of them..And i cant say that i dont think the first thing blasters need is a pipe.Cause they do but they are money..And some people have pissy neighbors..I wasnt trying to be a dick im sorry aswell

well put digdblaster, i def wasn't trying to be a jerk either, but i do sometimes speak my mind before i think...lol..one of my many bad habits i have..
thanx bigdblaster..app it

sounds like your gunna have some nice packages to come home to lol studs sounds like a good idea i have a set of old tires ive been thinking about studding. when u stud them let me know how it works!

Does a pipe really add that much power to a stock blaster? as long as its jetted right? cause i havent got a pipe yet either but never rode a blaster with one either so i really dont know! and like some one eles said, they cost alot and im not gonna spend money on somthing just for looks!!

HELL YEA

pipes do really help a blaster alot..right bends are better due to the fact that they let the exhaust out easier rather then a left bend{stock} i have a toomey that is left bend and it made a big difference on top end....u also have to get the jetting right for u to notice the gain...

take my word for it, and im sure the majority of the people on here will agree, a pipe is the BIGGEST performance gain you can start out with on a blaster, it does really wake it up. after a good pipe and matching silencer your quad will feel like a totally different quad...and thats true for any two stroke in general, two strokes need a good pipe.
if anyone cares to read how it all works ,here is a good article, it actually very interesting and its why pipes on a two stroke are so important

How Two-Stroke Expansion Chambers Work, and Why You Should Care.

justin whats up man this is tyler jus writing to u blaster kick ass dont they write back to me when u get a chanch since u dont live by me any more

yea man adding a pipe is rediculous. i just put mine on about 2 months ago. and it was insane the gains it has now. more power than i was expecting from my blaster. it trys to pick up on me everytime i shift. with before the pipe i could only do that if i was pullin up lol.

dude i must recomend the chen shing tires i have, C826, they are perfect for the 1/2 inch kold kutter studs, and magic racing has all of it in a package i think

Using snowmobile studs does work but usually for bigger quads. We do a lot of ice drags up here in WI and if it is dragging you do, we put drywall screws from the inside out. And I mean lots of em. Like a 1000 per tire. It sounds crazy but with that many you actually make the screws more sturdy. Other wise we use Gold Max ice studs. IMO
