I had a 68 olds cutless with a rocket 350 and a worked over powerglide in my younger days.. that thing was fun! also had a 66 GTO 389 tripower with the M22 rockcrusher... that thing rocked. only bad thing was it had BAD wheel hop, so bad it snapped the 4:11 posi rear end in half at the pumpkin. got a rear end out of a station wagon at the junk yard and put the posi on the tall feeway gears. still quick as hell, and you could lope/idle across a parking lot in first with your foot off the gas, mash the throttle and break it completely loose. hell you could chirp the tires if you tried slamming it from 3rd to 4th on the freeway. with the freeway gears I had it up to 145 on the freeway against a Bmw... was a handfull at that speed... this is the toy now...histrical plates.. brak it out maybe once or twice a year.. completely original, all matching numbers rare '65 350hp/327 with factory air. less than 120k miles and the motor and tranny have never been apart.

very nice!!!!! im tryingt o decide if i wanna do the flames on it or not.. im kinda digging the all black look, maybe with some old school pin stripping..
mines all orginal 127k miles, factory optioned 425 super rocket, with th400 trans, and switch pitch converter ( first year for the th trans), still has the original 2bbl carb thats gonna get replaced with a new 2bbl just to make startin it easyer, only added option was the 70s sears a/c unit mounted inder the dash which im keepin for the 'vintage' feel,
keeping stock radio in tact but mounting acd player in the glove box, got some custom touches to add to it.... basicly a mid 50s style custom, but its a 65.. still old so its exceptable!

man i would be sh*tting if i had all the stuff you have close to that car, i would't be able to sleep! that is a beaut tho phragle
ha..thats the parents garage..mine has the welder, 2 drillpresses, 2 compressors, lathe, nitrogen setup, rollaway, benchgrinder, cutoff saw,solvent tank 3 work benchs, belt sanders, swingarm jigs etc.....
