hey guys. Just went through the DIY and removed my oil injection pump. will pull the gear as soon as the new cover gasket shows. I had question about the tank. the cover has two wires going into i think. When i remove the tank, do I have to do anything else? Would this send an "out of oil" signal to the warning light? I am just getting up to speed with the blaster. Got the 88' running after sitting for about ten years. Cant wait to ride it. thanks in advance

We just removed the tank, and then capped the wires off back there, and zip tied them to the frame... Should not get a signal from it.
as said before just make sure all the wires are disconected. you could cut the wires out if you dont plan on putting the oil injection back on.
