oil pump blockoff gearshaft

my oil is blocked off but i need to removed the gear shaft, that the motor connects to, from the case. the motor was pulled off yesterday and i have a blockoff plate ready. help please

remove the plastic pump cover, pump and all the hoses. Remove the clutch cover. Remove the E clip, pin and white gear. Remove a second E clip and pull the shaft out. Use sockets and a hammer to tap out the steel sleeve
