Well my blaster starts to leak oil only when the motor is hot. I cannot tell where it's coming from , it's dripping from the top of the exhaust and spalshing on the bottom near the cylinder. I thought I needed a new exhaust gasket but it is dripping from up top?

Did you recently change the transmission oil? If so, its possible that you overfilled it and the pressure from the crankcase is making oil come out the overflow line.

It's on the clutch side of the motor. There's a little nipple right under the intake boot. There should be a hose on it that routes to the front of the bike. Your hose might not be present.

It is not really an overflow line, it is a breather .

If there is no hose fitted on it, there is a likelyhood that it will spew oil when the transmission gets hot.

The hose should route up under the tank and end somewhere inside the hood.

Thanks a lot I'll check tomorrow!

Hello, i have a 2001 Yamaha Blaster something similar to this has been happening but mine leaks oil from the (breathe line)? pardon my terminology im not quite sure if that the right name, anyhow this line is right on top of the motor and goes all the way to the front of the bike it also only leaks after i run it for about 30 to 40 mins, i was using 2-stroke motor oil until i saw somewhere here to use Transmission fluid Type F so i started using that hoping that i was just using the wrong oil and that was the reason for it to be spitting it out. i hope someone can tell me if this is normal (which i doubt) and maybe tell me why this is happening and more importantly how to fix it. Thanks in advance
