ok, i took apart the pump, took out the big gear so it would not pump, put it back together, put some oil in it till it came out the side where the rubber plug goes, and put it back on. i know there is a kit to do this but it looked like i could get away by doing it this way. will it be ok?
thanks, bob

did you block off were the pump goes? doont forget to plug the hole in the carb were the oil was injectiing into

If you have disabled the pump by taking off the gear, then all you need to do now is remove the injection pipe from the carby and fit an airtight cap.

You may now need to fit a larger main jet to allow for the loss of gas in the AFR due to the prescence of 32:1 oil ratio.

Plug chop to confirm jetting.
