ok today had my blaster out for a little bit noticed it wasnt running right at all.keeps fouling plugs like CRAZY right now becuz of this.i believe it may be sucking air in threw the head but heres the problem.ok apon further inspection when i really reved it i noticed smoke coming out from the head.only when i really reved it.it PUFFED then smoke came out. After we got it back home.wanted to make sure all head bolts were tight..well they all were besides one.But heres my problem.the one i keep tighting.the Stud is coming up everytime i tighten down the bolt.Meaning the stud isn't threated or something. Now my next question what do i need a new head now or what? anyone else have this problem. What causes it?

yea it sounds like your head gasket is leaking .. i had mine do that befor cause its missing a head stud cause it stripped out .. i got the helicoil kit and taped the hole and was good to go .. as for fouling plugs do you have your air box lid on?, if so pop it off see if it helps some ..

yea the head gasket is leaking But as far as that Stud thats coming out when i turn the bolt.I should just tap it out and ill be fine or what?yes Airbox is already removed. But my thought on the fouling plugs was it was just drawing air in from the head and causing them to flow..to much air?...didnt start untill we noticed when the head started leaking.then i couldnt even keep it running just stalling plugs

If you were getting to much air flow you wounldnt be fouling plugs, youd be melting them. Make sure your runing a br8es plug and not colder. Also your jets likely are to rich. Or to much oil in your gas.

If the head gasket is leaking your prob losing compression, that would throw your jetting off some.

Fix the leaky gasket and stud first, if its still fouling plugs, then consider rejeting

could be your reeds causeing it to run rich .. if they are cracked or warped ..

I will deffinitly have to look into that. But im trying to get a tap and die system to replace the threads on the head..Hope it works out
