Not starting

I just had jug bored and installed new piston and rings. after i put everything together it ran good and i was trying to break it in probably afer 5 hot-cold cycles i was taking it home and it was bogging down when i press on throttle. No noise just bogged down. it would start but wouldnt stay running for long after that.
i took the jug off to make sure piston was still good,
its got good blue spark
i have a uni air filter and thats clean

just cleaned carb with tutorial i found on here not sure what else to do here

is your tors disconnected ? and parking brake switch for 03+ ?
i'd start with a new plug, check for fuel flow to the carb and the reed petals next.

Did you do a leak test after assembling the motor?

yes tors has been removed with the parking brake. Im going to get a new plug now. i checked the reeds one is not sitting perfectly flush, probably less then 1/8 inch gap. also i have not gotten it running since i put it back together to do a leak test but i did install all new gaskets.

This test should be done between the finish of assembly and starting the motor.
