No Spark

Yesterday I started my 2002 yamaha blaster and It fired right up. Drove it a little bit then put it away. Today I went to start it and it will not start. It is getting gas but no spark. I tried a new plug an still no spark. What could it be?

loose stator, kill switch, or ground wire? im not good with wiring and electronics though

you have ground plug to side of engine and kicked to confirm no spark?

yes I have confirmed no spark. Today I am gonna clean all the cdi wire connections and ignition coil connections. Then unplug the whole tors system and see what happens.

I replaced ignition coil and tht was not the problem. Stator wasn't the problem either. It was the dang killswitch. But he's running now.

its a shame we did not tell you to simply unplug it to see if it was the problem
