no spark

i know ill get sh*t for this but i cant get any spark on my lt230 i fixed the siezing problem but i cant get spark every thing works fine i just cant get any spark while my dad was working on it he left it out side in the rain all the electrical stuff got wet could that be it plz plz help i need to get this running

could be bad plug,boot, ignition etc, water and electrical=bad

did you check it? I would use a Analog Multimeter to test your resistances..

Make sure the coil is grounded to the frame as well.

check that you gap on the coil pack is right i forget how far it should be and check if its rusted.

the coil pack contacts are probally coated in rust take some light sandpaper and sand them until you seen new/clean metal then do the same with your flywheel magnets on the inside of your flywheel.
