NO Neutral....!!!!!

yea i put my whole motor back together and then try to go through the gears today with the shifting star and where the neutral spot is its like its in gear and neutral is just a hair below where its supposed to be idk wut to do?

are you just turning the star by hand or by the shifter? is the detent installed?

yes the detent is installed and i put the shift shaft through and do it like that but neutral is like a hair below where its supposed to be...... and its rele making me mad cuz idk what to do besides tear my motor back apart and check it out

what do you mean it's a hair below where it's supposed to be?
you mean that from first you have to barely touch the shifter to put it into neutral?
maybe you should check your shift star and detent. make sure you've got the spring installed correctly.

maby u should just run it and as long as u dont here any funny noises dont worry about it.

yea like neutral is a hair below so when i get it into neutral and roll the quad just a lil bit or hold the clutch in and kick it it kicks right into gear and thats just a pain and gets old.....

So you already have it all back together? I would replace the spring on (is that the detent?)
