Next Upgrade?

Alright i got a K&N air filter and an LRD exhaust on my bike now so what would be a new good upgrade? (most effective)

Cost wise, go with a new set of Reeds like V Force 3.

they make improved throttle response. and after u get it ported, which u may or may not, u could get a bore kit or bore it out a little. for my needs, it goes fast enough stock but everyone has different opinions and different places to ride, which is my problem: i don'[t have a trailer or truck to go anywhere.

What about the Boyesen RAD valve?
I heard those are pretty good. They're like $175.
Supposed to increase top end like crazy. It works real nice on the old 250R an banshee. So why not the blaster?

but yes, reeds are good too. Mostly increases response. and a bit more go.

get the v force 3 reeds and get it ported its well worth the money

if you're going to go spend the money to get a good set of reeds, either get vforce3's Or my personal favorite and the best set i ever bought -- G3 reeds.. you'd have to get a hold of me on a PM or email for me to get you the site though cuz i don't remember it off hand... anyway.. yeah..

a mild port and polish job is always a nice addition
and so is getting your head milled to increase compression (above .030 requires race gas)

how much does porting usually run and is that somethin u can do yourself?

porting can be costly but it will wake up a blaster. find some one good 2 do it

you can get it ported for around 200, but have someone do it that knows what there doing. If you go to everything2stroke.com theres a guy on there named flotek that does some really good work

another cheapo mod you could do for some more juice is to either run w/o the airbox lid or get one of these (which is what i use): Outerwears airbox cover kit prefilter yamaha blaster - eBay (item 360056623952 end time Jun-27-08 14:30:41 PDT)
and then rejet.
this won't do anything for you w/o rejetting.

get the powernow system from scaryfast.net...it was voted best buy fer under 100 bux...plus i got one and it works really well!!!! =)
