Newbie needs help!

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy my first Blaster and need some input. A friend has a Blaster that he is selling for someone else and they have no idea
what year it is. The headlight is in the front plastic and the Blaster is blue. I looked for an info plate and couldn't find one. Where is the plate located? Is there an easy way to tell what year it is? Can anyone give me a rough guess as to what a fair price is? It runs okay, plastic is not beat up and everthing else appears to work. The only issue that I see is the tires are pretty worn.

Any help/education you can give me would be appreciated.

they started putting the front head light in the blasters plastic in 2003.. so im guessing it would be after that..

yeah maybe a grand.. if its in really nice condition... blasters are harly worth anything anymore
