newb here just got free quad

hey every one i'm new to this site and realitively new to quads so heres my story

went to visit brother for easter and was offered a 94 blaster for free I:I
so i took it it has been sitting for about 2 or 3 years out side all cables are rusted and the pipes are also. the motor is not seized and still looks to be in good looking condition.

I have parts in the works these are the things im getting so far (found from Craigs list)

a 1996 eng top and bottom with a vito's 240 big bore kit (has a bad tranny)

a trenga 30 m race carb

an FMF gold series pipe with power core silencer.

a set of tag handle bars with all cables still attached

a dg Front bumper

and a haynes manual

all for $350.00 sound like a good deal

if that big bore kit is in good shape that's definitely a good deal. better post up some pics of the blasty!

thanks pics to come soon im a tinkerer by nature and hope to just get it running for summer this year then take it all the way down to the frame and completly rebuild it this winter.

they're fun to tinker with for sure. i've been messing with mine for months though trying to fix everything wrong with it lol. mine had been beaten bad and never maintained. can't wait to see pics and what you do with it

if you get the 240 kit i would reccomend a better pipe then the fmf

well its all in a package deal and i need a pipe as the one on it is screwed lol but it may be up for sale at some time when i upgrade the upgrade.

FU2!FMF #1.lol.But for real.With a 240 bore that FMF is choking that motor.Like a runner breathing thew a straw.Just don't ask what is the best pipe.That like asking a room full of people', whats the best color.

there were a few members who had ssome problems with fighting over what pipe was the "best" the FMF is a great low/mid pipe for a pretty stock bike, but with that big bore it'll hold you back a little bit
